1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using mycv.chat ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

mycv.chat is a web-based platform that allows users to create interactive portfolio websites with AI-powered chatbot functionality. The Service includes free and paid subscription plans.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service (profile information, projects, skills, text). By using the Service, you grant mycv.chat a limited license to display, host, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You must not upload content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing on third-party rights, or otherwise harmful. mycv.chat reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms.

5. AI Chatbot

The AI chatbot generates responses based on the information you provide. mycv.chat does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated responses. You are responsible for reviewing the chatbot's behavior and the information it shares.

6. Subscription & Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided at mycv.chat's discretion. Prices are listed in EUR and may be subject to applicable taxes.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Abuse rate limits or use automated tools to overload the Service
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use the AI chatbot to generate harmful, misleading, or abusive content

8. Termination

mycv.chat may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow export, after which it will be permanently deleted.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. mycv.chat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
